Becky
Mills - Campus Crusade For Christ
While in high school Becky
had the opportunity to serve for eight weeks with Reign
Ministries Int. in the United Kingdom, ministering to
high school students. This was her first experience with
missions and even then God began to work in her heart. A
couple years later, Becky went to Caracas, Venezuela for
a month to minister alongside a missionary family. There
she got to see what life looked like as a full time
missionary. She began to hear God’s call to the mission
field at that time. But did not know where God was
specifically leading her.
Becky later went to college
at Indiana University of Pennsylvania where she got
involved with Campus Crusade for Christ. Throughout her
college years she was able to participate in many Campus
Crusade activities including; bible studies,
discipleship, summer mission trips and amazing
conferences. It was at these conferences that Becky’s
calling began to take shape.
Campus Crusade conferences
are a time of retreat and training. It was at these
events that Becky was trained to effectively share her
faith and opportunities were given to reach out to the
lost beyond the conference facilities. The conferences
were also a time for students to get away from the
stresses and distractions of the everyday to be able to
focus wholly on the Lord.
Becky is excited to have the
opportunity, now that she has joined staff with Campus
Crusade, to be able to minister to college students and
her fellow staff, through the planning of these
conferences which were so influential in her walk. Becky
will serve with Campus Crusade at their National
Headquarters in Orlando, Florida. In her new position
she will be planning conferences both nationally and
abroad with the vision of seeing lost students reached
for Jesus Christ; to see them discipled, trained, and
mobilized to effectively and relevantly reach students
on their own campuses, communities, and the world in
order to fulfill the Great Commission.

Mark and Barbara
Robinson - Oregon
Kingdom Builders
with the Central American Mission (CAM) - Hispanic USA
Field
Mark and Barbara
have been involved in church planting and leadership
training in Nicaragua and Costa Rica since 1976. After
their last Home Assignment CAM asked the
Robinsons
to serve in its Hispanic USA Field. God clearly led them
to a new chapter of ministry that has a more extensive
worldwide effect, namely in the area of leadership
development and specifically, the "Nueva Vida En Cristo"
("New Life in Christ") discipleship series for new
believers. Mark also teaches and mentors Hispanic
Pastors and Lay Leaders, leads a weekly discipleship
Bible study, and both he and Barbara mentor fellow
laborers internationally and promote Kingdom Building at
their home church.
Barbara spent much
of her girlhood here at CBC as the daughter of our
church’s founding Pastor, Paul Smith. Mark and Barbara
have 2 adult sons, Paul (and daughter-in-law Annie) and
Daniel and college-age daughter Rebecca.

Tim and Melanie
Shultz - New Jersey
Kingdom Builders
with the GO Network
The Shultzes have
been serving as cross-cultural church planters in
Northern New Jersey since 1989, with the focus of their
ministry primarily among Gujarati-speaking Hindu people.
They have seen God birth 2 fellowships of believers
called "Premi Sangat", which means "Loving Fellowship",
with Indian Pastor Chandra Das shepherding the flocks
there. Tim does not exert any leadership in the churches
but, like the great apostle Paul, he keeps in close
touch with the churches he planted by mentoring the
leaders. His additional ministry responsibilities
include: "networking" with other groups of believers who
are reaching out to Hindu populations in their spheres
of influence; an itinerant ministry concerned with
starting new church plants that serve in partnership
with experienced Hindu-focused Kingdom Builders already
there; and "The Oasis" that purposes to encourage God’s
people who have need of being re-connected to His
sustaining presence. |
