Let’s take a look at the ‘good stuff’  of our inheritance

1. We shall be like Christ
 Just as children look like their parents, Christians were destined, created and saved to be like Christ, the one who created and saved us.

Think about this for a moment.
     -What did Christ want that he did not have? Nothing
     -What did Christ want to do that he was incapable of doing? Nothing
 
To be like Christ means that we have all Christ has, to know all Christ knows.

Read: John 16:15             I will make it known to you
           Rom. 8:29              to be conformed to his image
           Phil 3:20-21           transform our lowly body to be conformed to His glorious  body

 2. We will reign with Christ
 
Read: Eph. 2:6              Sit in the heavenly places with Christ
           2 Tim. 2:12          we shall also reign with him
           Rev. 5:9-10         we shall reign on the earth
 
 Christ is ruling and reigning in Heaven and in this spiritual realm, we are ruling and reigning with him. It will be completely fulfilled when we are done with this world and are with him forever.

Think about this
     -Was there an evil power that was beyond the ability of Jesus to rule over it?  No
     -Was any demon in a person, ever more powerful than Jesus power to cast out? No
     -Was Satan himself, more powerful than Jesus? No

 Then guess what, you too are more powerful than any of the demons in your life.
